I’m thinking about using this company for on-line test prep. Has anyone had any experiences with them. I need to raise my math score! I’m open to suggestions. What is the best prep class out there that really works! Thank you!

My GPA was not the best in undergrad (5 years ago) and I need to get a good score.

Dear, to the best of my knowledge, Barron’s GRE is the best book for preparation. It contains detailed review on Verbal, Quantitative and Analytical sections. Be stick to only one book; read and practice as much as you can, and God will certainly help you.

Is it worth it too take a class that costs 500 in the summer to study for the GRE?? I bought the study guide and was planning on just studying that for a month… Should I stick to that and save the money or cough up the 500 bucks?? Is it really that rigorous??

If you consider yourself to be an average to below-average test-taker, and you have an extra $500 to spend on GRE test prep, then I recommend taking the course.

However, if you’re pretty average to above average, just use your GRE prep book and diagnose your weak areas. Then focus on those areas; you’ll be ready.

Is it rigorous? Yeah, it’s pretty tough, but again, if you work to reinforce your weaknesses, you should come out okay. You should also take into consideration the selectivity of your prospective graduate school.

I need to sharpen up my points in the GRE so i want to find a place that is available for preparing us for the GRE. I heard a place called Testmasters that has a GRE course but on the website it says 899$ per full course. Is this true? and is there any other places you would recommend for it?

I’m taking the GRE in a week, I normally type in dvorak layout, since I never learned to properly touch-type in qwerty. Will the GRE testing center allow me to put the keyboard on dvorak layout?

I’d be willing to pay money for videos or DVD’s on GRE test prep. Do you guys have any idea where I can find some of this?
I have 3 books. I’d like to learn visually as if it was a test prep class. But I don’t want to pay for test prep courses.

Also I’d like to learn through sound.

Please do not insult me, I have a 3.8 GPA.

I have a good book with a CD and online website with practice tests: it is The Princeton Review’s 2006 GRE book.
